4 / 5 Location is good, room is big brand new, AC doesn’t work well. no staff responsible on phone at check-in, could be better, that will be Exhaustion after 25 km walking with 35 degree. Could be rated 5 if you just put a checkin guidance on the door.
1 / 5 I don't know where the 4-star rating comes from. While it looks good at first glance, the service is actually subpar.
Very well located and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. The problem starts with the staff and ends with the staff. I had two reservations already paid for on Booking.com, check-in is at 3:00 PM, and we arrived on foot at 5:00 PM. The man at reception, to put it another way, tells me there are only two rooms reserved instead of the four I had paid for. He offers no solution. He calls the manager, and they tell me that since he'd seen two reservations in my name, each with two rooms, and we hadn't arrived yet, he thought it was a mistake and didn't bother calling. He says he'd given us one of the rooms when I had reserved four. In the end, he puts us in another one, which: the door doesn't close and the bathtub doesn't drain. He calls the same man from reception (who's a jack-of-all-trades), with a bad face, bangs on the door, unclogs the bathtub with the toilet brush, leaves all the towels trampled and dirty, which of course they don't bother to change. There's literally no one to comment on this since there's only one manager, and this person at reception for everything: breakfast, check-in, check-out, incidents... a disaster. The other rooms also had drainage problems. A lovely hotel, yes, and well-located, but the staff doesn't even get a star, both for their service and for the lack of it. A shame. For we pilgrims who arrive tired, this is definitely not an option, as instead of being pleasant, they seem to want to throw you out.
