I had a very good stay at this albergue. I was greeted by friendly owners. All inside was clean and tidy. I felt safe, even though the space with bunk beds is big. Great value for money. I use hostels a lot and I would definitely recommend Albergue da Meiga.

A perfect place to stay on the Camino. It's run by the parents and their daughters. They are very helpful. The albergue itself is new and well equipped. Very comfortable.

A very average albergue on camino. Unfortunately one of the worst I’ve stayed at, although it is cheaper than most. The room with beds is a like a hall, the beds have curtains yes, although they don’t really hide the light and also if the person in the bottom bunk has the light it’s literally in your face on the top bunk. The door of the hall is very loud, also people in the common room were really loud even after 11pm which made it hard to sleep. The common areas are very basic, only tables to eat at. You are not allowed to use the actual kitchen, it’s private. The bathroom has enough showers/toilets but it’s very unpractical, no way to hang things. Pretty dirty also. The staff were very friendly though. It was an okay stop on camino, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s a little off the track (around 1 km) and pilgrims can’t use the kitchen- we were told it was “private”. Utensils and microwave oven available. Very clean and very nice service

When I walked into Padron, having walked 32 km or so and not having rested well enough the night before. I went to the first Albergue I came across then another none had private room and this place was recommended by the prior place I went to. They didn't have a private room either but had an apartment next door that was free. The price was more than a hotel, I took it as I wanted to rest, so took it. To be fair, the flat, had a lounge, bedroom with a double bed and a kitchen. All good except that, there were no shops in the area to purchase food. There were two restaurants nearby - I paid a exorbitant price for meagre meal and a beer, one of the worse - back to the flat, I switched my devices on and search for Wi-Fi, nothing, I had to go to reception for the info that's when I was told, they didn't have any in the flat. If I needed to use it, I would have to come down to the lobby in the Albergue, which I had to do after my meal. Then there was the shower, there was a screen over the bath, and I didn't know that water were leaking underneath it, until, I stepped out into a pool of water. I had to use the mop in the kitchen to dry it, in case I slipped when using it later. The good thing was that, there was a washing machine that I used to wash some clothes. All in all, I probably wouldn't have stayed there if I was made aware of these issues. Lessons to learn to not stay at the first Albergue you come across regardless how tired you may feel. Disfruta.
