We (a couple) stayed one night in a private room (with bathroom), while walking the Camino. Everything was as advertised. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location is very convenient.

The phone number given is not responsive at all. No one is present. The washing machine is not working and there is no one to notify or fix. No support is provided regarding service or problems that arise.

We were really satisfied here. Room was just big enough for two pilgrim travelers with its own bathroom that was little bit smaller but still fine. Quiet place with good view over the city. It was really clean and nicely decorated. Beds were so comfortable. Walking distance to the town centre around 10 mins. There was bar and restaurant just right next to it so in case you were hungry and tired there was no need to walk far. It had lift.

BEDBUGS!!! This place has them! We booked two nights and could not stay the second one (got bitten 6 times). We had no issues in any other hotel on our way to Santiago. Our previous hotel was extremely clean. However, the owner still tried to blame us for bringing the bedbugs to her hotel! And right after doing it she tried to offer us a third room in her Hotel( we changed rooms after getting bitten in the first room and we still got bitten in the second room too). It makes no sense to offer a third room if you thought the travelers were the problem right!? We left after one night and she declined to help us with some money so we could rewash and dry our stuff. Most awful Hostel for any pilgrim in Padrón! Ps: the person responding below(the owner) was not present during our stay. Her lack of knowledge is evident on her comment since we only carried two backpacks with us( bringing 4 "mochilas" makes no sense since we are 2 pilgrims going to Santiago duuuuh) she really is a liar.

We booked over the phone but when we arrived, the lady said there was no reservation for us. Beds were clean which was handy. You can't cook in the albergue, we were not told this information at the start so we already bought food to cook with! We didn't get a tour either. Was convenient to stay in but not as warm welcome as other albergue experiences...maybe as this was in a city I'm not sure??
