Too many beds per room, strong smell of anti-mold chemicals and no privacy for the upper beds. Other than that, it's a nice house with a cozy common area. It's clean and the staff is nice.
I stayed at this place twice. First time a couple a years ago and now. The quality went down exponentially and the price went up exponentially also. I saw also that you guys answered me when I did not write a review. So I take the chance to also reply to you. First of all the check in was a mess. You told me that my card was going to be at the black safe box outside the hostel and it wasn't. Then I started ringing the bell. After waiting quite a bit someone opened the door and the treatment was horrible... Not going to expand more on this subject. Next morning I realized I didn't have a towel...I asked the receptionist and I was also treated in a very negative way. So I left the key card and checked out. I wont stay again at this place. Since what makes a place is the people that is there and the way they act. It did disappoint me a lot mostly cause last time I was very well treated. I did read all the rules. And again you are having an rude and arrogant way of communicating. So I guess is a new requirement of your hostel: to be arrogant. Thanks but you lost a client and I definitely don't recommend the place meanwhile its being run by this kind of people. Ps:. Check the pictures to see if the card was there! Maybe it was transparent and I did not notice it…
The top bunks of the dorms doesn’t have curtains, no place to plug your device while in bed, no lamps while the bottoms one do but they are the same price
This was one of my most positive hostel experiences and I couldn't recommend this place enough. I've stayed at the bigger hostels that are more corporate and they have their nice things but this one is a true family hostel with a family vibe that makes you feel at home. The owner is such a sweet and kind lady that will always give you attention if anything is needed and the staff are all amazing as well. The neighborhood is perfect too, away from the tourist center to make you feel like a local but still close enough to get all of your site seeing in. Can't recommend enough!
There is no such a Customer Services and if you are lucky to reach out them after spending some hours for calling their phone or sending messages, you could easily see they are too far from providing such a service. Furthermore, if you share these realities to them, they may also cancel your booking just before check-in time to give you a trouble. I think they find it easier than answering their phone or replying messages after reservations. But thanks to them, we found a much better place with the same price :)
