This was a great find cheap, clean, tidy and quirky. This is a B&B, the breakfast was pretty standard - all-you-can-eat various meats, fruits, yogurts etc. The room was spacious and classy, large double bed, tall window shutters. The bathroom was unusal, a roofless box, but functional. It's very adjacent to the town centre so don't expect silence if your room is at the front. Excellent value for money.
We chose the suite on the top floor and it was really beautiful. The room with double window door allowed access to the terrace with breathtaking views of Porto. The cleanliness was perfect, the bed comfortable and there was enough silence to rest. Only remark, the bathroom is outside the room, although anyway the top floor was all for us. Breakfast was very good. The b&b also has a garden. I would suggest to put a mirror in the room, since having the bathroom outside and a little distant, a mirror to prepare yourself would be welcome. Location good if your happy to walk. View from our top floor balcony amazing, overlooking the river. Was advertised as 2 bedroom suite, however, not self contained so potentially other guests could access the area. Needed to keep bedroom locked and toilet was outside on a corridor, not ideal. Staff not friendly and breakfast very disappointing.
my daughter received a trip to Porto as a gift for her birthday. Unfortunately our flight was canceled due to a strike. Because it is a strike beyond the control of the airline, we are not entitled to compensation from them. Unfortunately, the hotel does not want to do anything, not let us come a few days later, nor do we want to get a part back financially. This is a great shame, as a single mom I do my very best. Too bad there wasn't a little flexibility and I just lost all my money. a sad mom
I really love staying at this place. Check-in is easy, breakfast is more than okay. The rooms are very cosy and you see that the staff really cares for this b&b and wants to have you the best experience possible. I love the area because it is close to the center but also away from the crowdedness. There is also a nice bar at the corner of the street where there is live music. Already looking forward to be here again!
