Came here during the Winter break time. The hotel was great, even for just two nights. The room was very clean and well equipped, had adequate heating, and above all it was comfortable The food and drink in both the bar and the breakfast area were great although the service in bar took a while. The staff were very friendly! The receptionist which checked us in also gave us a map of the Metro and also some other local attractions in Porto within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Porto
We enjoyed our three nights stay very much. Right in the heart of the city, the main street is two blocks away with tons of restaurants, stores, coffee shops, souvenirs and anything you want. 20 minutes walk down to the river front and all the major attractions. The lobby is well decorated, lots of places to sit, very helpful stuff. although the hotel has 14 floors we always got the elevator quickly, to our surprise. Our junior suite was amazing, large separate bedroom, comfy firm mattress, sitting area, lots of storage. we got a complimentary champagne. Great strong and stable Wi-Fi if you need to work During your stay. They have blackout curtains. Super quiet AC. The breakfast was delicious with variety of bread, fresh juice, two coffee machine with any style of coffee you want including cappuccino latte espresso et cetera. The same breakfast items repeat every day. Only downside - it’s very noisy, not a quiet location, you can hear loud car noise from the street. Bring good earbuds.
It was an amazing experience, great staff, great restaurant and great food. I’ve tasted the Basil Flirt cocktail, is 100% fantastic, believe me folks. I’ve reached the breathless point when I went on the roof top to smoke some… you’ll be able to take a look at Oporto itself from up there 😍. 100% recommendations from this humble human. 🙏
I’ve been in this hotel three times and this has been the best of them all. The service is great, especially from the people in the restaurants. There was one specific lady that spoke Spanish to us that even remembered the order during multiple days of some special food requirements we had. I didn’t get her name but she made the difference. The view from the bar up top is amazing. The rooms are spacious. The location is good. 3 minutes away walking from supermarkets and the Bolhão market. To improve: Im not crazy about the hotel building, the architecture looks a little odd and the breakfast is complete but is a little too basic.
I booked on booking 3 months ago 2 rooms, i paid 1600€. But 1 room was in between the 2 elevators and one next to the staff room. We also found out on the day that the gym was under construction, this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.
