Hotel Vila Galé Porto

A perfect place to spend time. The team is nice and reactive (special thanks to Miguel) We spent a wonderful week here.. The rooms are clean, the spa is a delight and the food (breakfast & massa fina restaurant) is great ! Thank you !

A top Hotel, giving us everything what we needed. Absolutely family friendly, a professional team who offer a great service in any situation. We felt like being home with our baby daughter. The breakfast offered everything desirable. Amazing view from the higher floors, a gym which I used regularly and a pool where we could spend some quality time each day.

We have stayed in many Vila Gale properties. This one is in desperate need of a refresh. Thick carpet in the rooms and furniture that is dated both hold must and mold spores. We have respiratory irritation when staying here. The staff is very nice, but we got caught behind the lines of two tourists buses just to request our luggage from the valet, costing us valuable time when all we required was a jacket from the luggage. Understanably the staff was unpleasant given no valet or assistance was offered other than those doing mass tourist check ins, but these factors have us not wanting to stay at this location again .

Perfectly located in the city center, within walking distance to major attractions. The rooms are classic and comfortable, and the swimming pool is pleasant. Breakfast offers a good variety of food. The staff are friendly and professional, and the reception kindly helped me print my boarding passes. I highly recommend this hotel, and I didn’t find any negative points during my stay.

Hotel, outside of lobby and breakfast room, felt outdated and a little overpriced. Service wasn't very friendly and we didn't feel overly welcomed. Location was good, not in the center of old town but definitely walkable.
