I had a wonderful stay at the ibis Porto Centro Mercado do Bolhão. The hotel was very clean, the service excellent, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and everything is easily accessible. The air conditioning wasn't working on the first evening, but it was fixed immediately. Highly recommended! ⭐️

We love the location, close to markets, bolhao metro 5 min, bigger train station for intercity Porto São Bento 15 min walk. We walked everywhere for foods, shopping & sightseeing. The rooms were minimalist & functional. Beds and the room temperature were comfortable. Hotel looks clean inside the room & hallways. Staffs were friendly & helpful.

Its like they design the rooms to annoy you maximally. The paper cups provided in the bathroom is ridiculous, they dont hold water for multiple use before going all soggy. If you try to prop up your toothbrush in it, it falls off balance immedaitely. I threw my paper cups away and they didnt even restocked new ones. Not quite eco friendly when a cheap plastic cup will suffice. the shower room is also designed poorly, with such huge opening water will def splash everywhere. (youll find out soon enough) The paperbag in the dustbins dont even fit properly and they cant close. The mattress are thin but at least clean and comfy. The towels are really thin as if its disposable. When it rains the droplets make really loud noises against the window, not sure if this is fixable but it can annoy some people. At breakfast to my horror they serve rotten fruits on display. (refer pic) I mean are we rationing like the plague is back? All their offering was also mediocre or below avg. Last but not least during check in at night, there was no welcoming smile, its as if they dread their job and hated being there. Overall after staying at another3 star hotel in Lisbon (holiday inn express) the difference is like night and day. For the same price i would recommend u find another option.

Not one of the better hotels in the city centre. The rooms are really basic and shower stalls poorly designed, so much so that water splashed through the gap between door and side. The family room does not even have a cupboard or hangers for clothes. The aircon remote thermostat cannot be adjusted as the temperature is centrally controlled. However, the staff are fairly friendly and helpful to a certain extent.

Nice and clean. Good location. Free coffee and tea in the afternoon. The only problem in our room is the shower. If you are over 6ft you might not able to get in it. The water temperature is sometimes not stable. The shower door doesn't cover the whole shower.
