Invictus Hostel

Great location, cozy place, worth the money !! Liked · 1. Great location in the heart of Porto. Train Stations, Metro, Bus stops, attractions, groceries etc are just 5-10mins walk away 2. Rooms & bathrooms were neat and clean. Decent comfy beds with "safe" drawers. 3. Wifi was great throughout 4. Wonderful staff, very friendly helpful and make you feel comfy. Can be better 1. Kitchen isn't fully equipped to cook your food. However there's microwave and fridge along with kettle and all the required utensils.

We stayed for 2 nights in a private bedroom with a private bathroom, and we did not have a very pleasant experience. There was a strong musty smell in the room, which was very unpleasant. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and since it was just one big room with the bedroom, the smell permeated everywhere. Additionally, the soundproofing was terrible. The hostel nearby had parties every night until 2:30 a.m. Although I understand this isn't directly the fault of this hostel (having worked in hostels and stayed in several, I've never seen one party until that late), I’d recommend they consider upgrading window thickness and installing an AC unit in the room. To sum up, the staff was nice, but the place needs improvements and renovations.

Amazing stay! The front desk receptionist was very helpfull and kind. Small kitchen with all Basic suplies, enough for a few days. The room was confy and clean.

Spent here the day panickly searching for a comfortable bed and honestly, saved me completely. Very clean place and the room was very cozy and comfortable. The service was amazing, thanks a lot for everything. The tea was great too :)!
