I had an okay experience. Cheap hotel, the room was small but had all the basic amenities. The bedroom was clean enough but the bathroom had plenty of mould in the shower. The towels had strange stains too. The building itself was old school and beautiful, Wes Anderson vibes on the corridors. I liked that. The location is perfect, very central. I did not encounter bed bugs, but other reviews mention them and that is a concern for sure. If you're looking for the cheapest possible option out there, this could be worth it but if you can afford a nicer place, go elsewhere.
a jump in the 50's loved the furniture in the hotel and in the room. the room was spacious, maybe the room.amenities could have been better Great location, centrally located.
One word: bedbugs. Don’t stay here. Not worth the risk. I’ve been fighting with booking.com to be refunded because the hotel will not refund me and I didn’t even stay more than a couple of hours prior to finding bedbugs in the room. After reading the comments of the reviews left here, it seems this has been a known issue for them and has been going on for a while. They even have a clean and safe sign at the front desk. What a scam!
The hotel’s location is excellent, with key landmarks just a short walk away and the metro conveniently located about 50 meters downhill. While the hotel is clean, it does feel a bit dated and somewhat gloomy, which might have been a concern if I were staying for more than a day. However, the breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with a nice variety, including fresh melon and different types of bread rolls. My room, facing away from the main road, was pleasantly quiet. However, the bathtub is too small for a comfortable bath if you’re around 1.74 meters tall. One important note for pilgrims: the hotel will store your luggage during your Camino only if you have a return booking. If they’re fully booked on your return date, there’s a luggage holding facility just a few meters up the road.
The hotel is in a great location, close to all the main attractions. However, cleanliness was a concern during our stay. Unfortunately, we encountered bedbugs in the room, which led us to leave earlier than planned. With some improvements in hygiene, this could be a fantastic place to stay
