5 / 5 We had a wonderful nights stop on the Camino. I booked the room based on others reviews and wasn't disappointed. The hotel is in a quiet and pretty location. The host is super friendly with a wonderful recommendation for dinner. The room was excellent, bed was comfortable and everything very clean. Great shower and even had a kettle. The breakfast was included and was really good 👍. This shows as a one star hotel, it's much better than that. I would highly recommend. Many thanks
5 / 5 We stayed here in September when on the Camino and were warmly welcomed by Basil, sorry I mean Rob. A family run hotel and the owners were lovely people who put their heart and soul into making this an amazing place to stay. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip.
5 / 5 Arce combines clean rooms with a view and boutique service from a culturally fluent wife and husband team.
Breakfast is special and cute, with a hot bar toasting croissants and breads by the house. It’s a small and well decorated experience.
Thank you to Robert — You have been a wonderful host.
5 / 5 Robert was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived; lots of local tips and recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean and had toiletries, hairdryer, water and foot cooling gel. The location was excellent and an ideal spot to start the Camino... The area is quiet so a great night's sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent; there were various options available and great coffee was served. Highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Robert.
5 / 5 A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home
Hotel Arce is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the care and attention to detail in every corner of the space. It’s clear that a lot of love goes into maintaining the hotel — from the eco-friendly bathroom products to the softest toilet paper we’ve found in a European hotel (yes, really!)
Each room is thoughtfully arranged, clean, and features a charming little veranda that opens up to let in the fresh air. We even had a living plant in our room — such a refreshing and personal touch that made it feel more like a home than a hotel.
Though there’s no pool, the heart of Hotel Arce is truly the owner, who goes above and beyond for every guest. He answered every question with patience and kindness, helped us book taxis, gave great restaurant recommendations, and even offered directions when we probably asked too much of him. His generosity and warmth were unforgettable.
Breakfast was simple but just right — everything we needed to start our day off well.
Hotel Arce is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and filled with small details that make a big difference. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our rest day during our Camino such a lovely experience!
