Hotel Vasco da Gama

A comfortable little hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff/owner at reception who escorted to our room and explained everything. A small lounge and the breakfast room area at reception, an outdoor seating area is alongside the hotel. Swipe card key access to room and to the hotel after 19.30-20.00. Room was straightforward and without frills but the overall stay was good. I included breakfast which had plenty of choice and cafe made by the owner. Plenty of offers for extra portions. Laundry premises is directly next door which is clean tidy and cheap. €4 per wash and €1 per 9min in a dryer.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vasca Da Gama! The rooms are so clean, the beds comfortable, and the linens crisp. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the beautiful shaded patio. The location was only a couple minutes walk to the beach. But the REAL treasure at this precious gem of a hotel is the owner. He goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service to everyone. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!!

Great service, Great location, at a very fair price. Alvara, the owner, is incredible. He would do almost anything to make our stay perfect. Room was spotless, plenty of towels, a good bed. Alvara even gave us home nade shots of the local brew, Aguardiente!

This is a budget hotel with a large bedroom and bathroom fitted with a small bath. The host was very accommodating and offered us tapas while we waited for the restaurants to open at 20h00. Is was a rather noisy night. The continental breakfast was adequate to prepare us for our day.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and tidy. Host was very welcoming. A delicious breakfast was included in the price of €65 for 2 with private bathroom. Highly recommended.
