Excellent albergue looking over a square, in prime location for this very sweet town. The host was very kind, and with our group of 5 we were lucky enough to score our own bunk room. Cheap washing machine and dryer and well equipped kitchen. Felt very homey! Sheets and towel provided
Stayed here a week ago in a 3-bed private room, and woke up with my feet and hands ravaged by bed bugs. My friend had bites all over their body. I ended up in emergency 2 days later to have my bites treated by medical staff. Found out another pilgrim stayed here on the same night as us in another room and was also bitten by bed bugs. The place needs to be fumigated. Would not recommend staying here for the rest of the season. Also, 3 bathrooms for the whole hostel is not enough.
Treated ourselves to a private room with a shared bathroom. Well worth it and right on the camino. The room had a dual aspect and a balcony with a little clothes drier so our things dried in the sun after using the laundry facilities. Lovely building and central to things but quiet at night. No idea how to gain entry when we arrived but we rang the number we had and the owner arrived very quickly to check us in. Just one thing - the cleaner needs to sweep under the beds and not just round them!
The lady welcomed me was very kind and helpful. It is a gorgeous city and a cute hostel with fair price-value ratio
There’s a serious mold problem in the ground-floor dormitory shower room, and a generally odd smell in the dorm from the mold and humidity.
