Albergue A Rotonda was one of my favorite albergues during my Camino in June 2025. The owner was very kind and had wonderful communication via WhatsApp and the albergue itself was very very clean, well-decorated, had access to laundry (inside and outside for hanging) and was close to shops and restaurants. I loved the size of the albergue (limited amount of beds) and would recommend it to anyone walking the Camino.

Great spot to stop on your Camino. Germán is a great host and has lots of information about the area. He grew up here. The albergue is small so might want to call ahead for a bed. Has a nice shared kitchen with free instant coffee and tea. The beds have nice blankets and for the most part are comfortable. It's easy to find because it's right on the roundabout as you come into town. Highly recommend.
This albergue was extremely clean and the host was sincerely helpful and generous. I speak little Spanish but he called his daughter to translate between the two of us and also drove me into town to get a SIM card, as well as provided recommendations for restaurants and other things I may need. Great communication prior to check in as well. I think this location would be great for a group and as always, your sleep depends on how loud those sharing the space are (this is always hit or miss), otherwise as long as the windows are closed the road noise wasn’t a problem.
In an attempt to save each hostel I booked on the Camino money I tried to book directly with the hostel rather than third party sites. My mistake as I’ve not fully checked the source and booked through a scam site who sent me an email from hotelvalues.com however I didn’t realise my error until I was stood outside the locked doors of this hostel in the rain after walking 20 miles. The other reviews talk of a charming host however this guy laughed at me down the phone and just kept repeating he was full clearly unaware beds are being sold at his place through scam sites. I tried all the other hostels in redondela and finally although full a lovely host at Albergue Avoa Regina pulled out a spare bed from their cupboard and gave me a place. Every hostel host throughout my trip have been very friendly and this hasn’t put me off doing this again it’s all an experience! But I’d suggest avoid this place as way he speaks to people he feels he has no obligation to is a more accurate example of his character
