This is a 3 stars hotel at best. Pro: -clean room. - mini bar Cons: -No variety at breakfast and lack of vegetables. -No coffee or tea in the room. -No slippers. -The service is bad. I asked for an iron that never arrived during my stay. -the gym is terrible. Small room with almost no ventilation. No free weights, just some cardio machines, not all of them functioning.
Very nice modern hotel with designated hotel garage parking in underground public car park with lift direct to reception (€13 per night). Receptionist very friendly as were the cleaning staff. Only downside was no Tea/Coffee making facilities in room, but we took our own so not a problem. Everywhere was very clean and the hotel is within walking distance of many eateries. We walked to beaches but you have to negotiate the large Port area before getting into the surrounding nature and coast path, but you can also drive there (15-20 mins) and parking on beachfront is Free 👍 The only downside was it is very noisy from the Port Activity and Traffic, but it is a city location after all !! Overall a very nice stay with lots to do in the area, we stayed for 5 nights.
Stayed on Camino and place is good. The reception was not very helpful when we checked in. We went back later and the person was a lot more helpful so I may have timed it wrong. The rooms are nice but I never understand why they have glass looking from beds into bathrooms. So if you are travelling with friends you have to pull down shades otherwise you will be watching the other showering 😀. Not a deal breaker but an item to be aware of before booking. The location really doesn't have many places close to it. You will have to walk 500 meters to get something to eat unless you eat in hotel which does have a restaurant.
Bad experience, they gave me this room with toilet for disabled people, went downstairs asking if they had one with cabin shower but I been told they were all the same, I doubt as I been here before it wasn’t like this, so taking bath in end of day it’s not great unless you wanna go in toilet during night with water all over the floor as it’s spreads. Also asked for invoice on checkout and been refused as I booked with agency, paid with my credit card, I do this a lot in other Eurostars and never happened to me. Not recommended, will not come back.
The hotel is located far from the Old Town, in the commercial port. The area is not nice. The view from the room is depressing. There are no nice restaurants or cafés around, so walking to the the old town is the only solution. This can be a bit dangerous at night (you'll find homeless sleeping on your way ) The staff at conciergerie have no suggestions as to where to eat, and they don't care to find out) This said, the room is comfortable, big, clean, with nice toilet products.
