Location was great and hotel was very clean. Ask for a sea-facing room - the views are exceptional. No breakfast provided but there are plenty of cafes in the vicinity..

I stayed her on my pilgrimage to Santiago. Nice basic hotel room with a view of the sea. I had to open the windows as the air conditioning would not provide enough cool air as it was set for winter months (I was there in March). The hotel is near restaurants for dinner and a promenade. One issue is that there is not a breakfast provided but they provided a restaurant nearby and on the Camino trail

I stayed at the charming Albergaria Quim Barreiros right in front of the beach in Vila Praia de Âncora, Portugal, and it was a delightful experience. The location is simply unbeatable, offering stunning views and easy access to the beautiful sandy shores. The rooms are nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

My stay was excellent, it is not a definitely 5 star hotel, but people like me who is on budget just want to stay nice clean place who does need much. Room was clean and simple, bed was comfortable, window also opens. ( just saying some place, Windows dont open.) the view was beautiful Portugal tile from next door building ( because I did not want to pay extra for ocean view). When you open the curtain, you will get all the sunshine, room get bright. Shower was clean, little week on pressure but did not bother enough, bathroom is very clean. Front desk is very professional and friendly. It is little pricy but since my stay was very pleasant, I did not care. Location is perfect, lot review said it was noisy, but it was not noisy at all, maybe because i was not ocean view room, but the town is not a big, i can not imagine it get so loud that would bother my stay. It is so nice when you walk out of building, ocean view right in front of you, felt so good. Rooms are definitely better than pictures on review ( i know that is rare.) I will stay this hotel next time if I come back in this beautiful nice friendly Portuguese town.

Great location, especially if you’re traveling on the Camino. Not a big fan of the room, shower head didn’t work properly making it quite difficult to shower, bathroom door made super loud noises when opening and closing (not a big deal but it was so loud I thought I’d include it). Beds were quite stiff & the place seemed like it needed some upgrading done. We stayed here because we wanted a private room for the night but honestly, I’d rather stay at a hostel. Giving 3 stars for the location & the friendly hotel staff!
