The room was decently sized. However, it was not clean. The sheet had musky smells, and the bed was not clean (sandy and small unknown objects—maybe stones). The owner was friendly enough to point us to the recommended shop, but it was very dodgy, and the prices were all over the place. It was also filled with drunk fishermen. We then realised that many other shops have everything and are decent. The kitchen was dirty.
Great service, good location and an amazing view for a good value definitely worth visiting again.
Military style rooms with no privacy, very hot during the night. One shower was broken and they said there are more showers downstairs in the basement, the showers in the basement had bugs in them and had leaks. I’m the upstairs bathroom there is only one sink right next to the ladies bathroom.
I got there with a reservation previously made and confirmed on Booking. They told me to go to the cafe next to it and to talk to a certain person. I asked for that person, and nobody could answer me who that person was. I then insisted and told them I wanted to check-in in the hostel, so they finally told me to wait 15 minutes. I had to wait 1 hour instead, the lady from the hostel asked me if I had a reservation (this coming from the person who I've talked before by phone...), I told her yes I had, and she insisted that it was not possible. So I've just shown her the reservation on my mobile. She asked me to wait a bit more, and with this I had to wait almost 1 more hour. When she came back to me, she told me to go to the hostel with her, we got there, and she told me they were fully booked and I had to stay sleeping in the couch of the reception, where they start working early and of course I would never stay sleeping in the couch of an hostel reception with everybody coming in and out, so what else can I say?... Worst hostel experience of my life. This place doesn't deserve to actually exist. They are liars, manipulators and thieves. Absolutely horrible experience., a definitely NOT TO GO place.
Pretty good Albergue! Hostel owner might seem somewhat unfriendly at first sight, but is a nice guy to talk to when you comply to the rules! As mentioned in other reviews the room are separated by half ways, so I can imagine it is a noisy area in high season
