ALAIA ROOMS, Tourist Apartments & Hostel

Oh my god the best albergue/hostal I’ve stayed at during the Camino so far. what a GEM!!!! I got the apartment and worth every penny. Very affordable and they give you a free bottle of wine! Super clean and the owner was a Peregrino too!

Probably my favorite hostel on the Camino Francés. Great facilities, everything is new and clean. The receptionist is a bit curt and inflexible but other than that, really enjoyed this hostel and stayed there twice!

I'm traveling on a bicycle and booked this apartment on Airbnb. When I arrived they said the bicycle isn't allowed and they can only cancel my reservation without returning money. Just great. By the way, it is listed as "self check-in" on Airbnb, but it isn't true as there is a reception.

Modern, clean and tidy. Appreciated the kitchen. Hosts were friendly but they came in panicked on the morning I left because I hadn’t checked out yet. It was 9:30AM. I was on the phone at the time and after I hung up, I couldn’t find them to clarify what time checkout was. Booking.com still had 10AM listed and they didn’t have anything written on google maps. Would be good if this was clearly stated somewhere as I felt really uncomfortable with the interaction when I didnt realise I had done anything wrong. I also think a nice touch would be not to charge at all for the coffee machine there.

Apartamentos bien ubicados, fácil acceso, limpios y nuevos. Si bien el check in es un poco tardío a las 16:00, el personal es muy servicial y amable. Personalmente me dejé olvidado el libro electrónico y me lo enviaron a casa rápidamente y sin cobro. Estoy muy agradecida por ello y recomiendo 100% un alojamiento que además de estar fenomenal hay un trato tan humano y amable.
