Hostal El Cruce in Villafranca del Bierzo provided a peaceful retreat during my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. This hostel is straightforward and cozy, creating a quiet, restful environment ideal after a long day of walking. Although it doesn't offer luxury amenities, the accommodation is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Its convenient location on the pilgrimage route adds to its appeal. A great choice for pilgrims seeking a no-frills, serene place to stay.

Amazing staff, so nice and friendly. My mum was sick and she went to buy her a thermoval for fever, really nice. They even took us to a shop to buy some sticks because it was almost closing and we wouldn’t have made it in time. Loved the location, really comfortable, near the center of the city and this beautiful river site.

I arrived with a head cold and excruciating pain from a foot injury from Camino. The manager was very helpful and kind. He carried my backpack up the stairs, drove me to the Doctor then picked me up after. He also printed me a bus timetable, booked the bus to Santiago and drove me to the bus stop! By far, the best service I have ever had from any accomodation! Thankyou so very much for supporting me.
