Three of us walked here from Casa Rural Dona Maria just after Bruma. After a long day it was so nice to land here . The hosts were fantastic and dinner was the best dinner I had on the Camino Ingles. The room was also very nice and after a great breakfast we were on our way . It was so nice to have such attentive hosts who took care of all our worries and questions. Our tour company Santiago Ways booked our group of 12 ladies into this lovely albergue. We all feel that this establishment went beyond expectations in providing outstanding service. Both the host and hostess Isabel made us feel like we were royalty. The rooms were clean and provided all the necessities and the meals were the best we have had this entire trip. We have no hesitation in recommending this place if you are walking the Camino Ingles. It’s a short 15 minute walk into town.
The hotel (pension) is really good. Service is extremely good, everyone is very attentive. The rooms are good size and very well kept. However, the breakfast was a bit too expensive, 8 euros for toast and coffee.
This place was a bit of a gem after meaning we left the Camino Ingles trail slightly. The owner hosts are lovely and made us a great meal from their fridge. From the house you can actually pick up the trail again easily by cutting straight to the town centre so it’s no bother. And probably quite nice to not stay right in the town anyway.
