THE RECEPTION OF THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN THE RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR. ELECTRICITY IN THE ROOM IS TURNED ON WITH ANY CARD. We needed a room for half a day, as my husband was not feeling well and needed some rest before a night flight. We chose this hotel because it was the closest to the city center and had the lowest price (34.5 euros per person). We booked the room using a QR code located on the hostel door and immediately got access to the room at 1 PM, even though check-in officially starts at 3 PM. We got room 303. The bed and towels were clean, the room itself was ok and clean, but it was hot inside because of the sun. There were no bedbugs, the windows could be opened. The bathroom was not bad. The room was always noisy because of the street and conversations in the corridor and neighboring rooms. The reception staff were fairly responsive, although we were disturbed twice because they could not find the payment for the booking (it had been made from a card under another name).
One of the most disgusting experience in my life. Our room was 103. As soon as we entered the room, cigarette smell welcomed us, and lots of dusts were on the floor and shelf. When we opened the balcony windows, we discovered cigarette butts and pigeons poo. One of my friend ended up having bedbugs mark all over his body in the following days. We complained about the bed smell but there was no follow-up.
“Reception” is located in the restaurant next door but are a bit unresponsive. You need to use a card key to turn on the lights and they told me to use my ID…
I know you cant expect some spectacular quality for this price range but you could expect at least for the rooms to be clean enough to not have vermin in bed. I have bug bites all over my body after sleeping here. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on next doors, tv playing, opening and closing of cabinets. I also got woke up at two in the morning by the people next door having sex because walls offer absolutely none noise protection. Water pressure in the shower is good at least, but avoid this hostel at all costs, it is the most disgusting place I ever slept at
No one speaks English it was very hard to communicate with the employees. There were missing a toilet brush in our bathroom. Employees didn’t get us enough toilet paper. On the other hand the hostel is well located. And everything is close to it.
