I walked the Camino de Santiago in September 2025 and stayed in the San Martín hotel in Fromista for one evening. The hotel was very busy and the room was was quite basic but very clean .The bathroom was equally nice too. The breakfast salon was on the ground floor and was enjoyable and there was good selection to choice from . The bar in the hotel was large and quite busy too. Overall , the hotel has 100's of peregrino's staying there so it is a well run hotel . For your information , my Camino travel partners were @Magichillholidays located in Ireland and it was a good selection on their part to recommend this hotel.

Hotel San Martin is a nice hotel in a great location next the San Martin church in Fromista about 2 blocks from the Camino de Santiago. Excellent peregrino dinner and basic breakfast.
Enjoy the sights, but bring earplugs for the sound of your neighbours through the thin walls. The shower was broken but the bath worked and the water was hot. They have a nice restaurant down below.
Very friendly service, always with a smile for us. We enjoyed the menu in the evening. Rooms are totally clean and comfortable. We'll come again next year!!🙂
Very unfriendly staff, I do not recommend staying here under any circumstances.
