This place reminds you of school trips, where you slept in a dilapidated hotel which still somehow got its charm. This is exactly the place you’ll get for the modest sum of 6€ (with a pint of beer at the bar where the sheets are, it’s gonna get to 8,50€ :-) and what a feeling to be the only pilgrim to stay there, such desolation but a great sleep in a sleeping bag nonetheless. Kitchen fully equipped by the way.
Really good price for 6 euros. The cheapest place i stayed on the camino. You have to go to the restaurant up the road to check in before you go to the hostel. Kitchen, bathroom and beds clean. Lockers avail. Unfortunately the shower does clog so after 5 mins there's a pool of water. Kitchen has all utensils, including working microwave and fridge. Working power sockets. There's fleece blankets. Small but lovely eating area and outdoor area. Only 3 ppl stayed here including me yesterday night.
6€ payable by card at the restaurant (do it before coming up to the albergue) and it was sufficient. 3 bathrooms total (yes toilet paper, bring your own soap) for a debatable amount of beds depending on what you deem an acceptable bed Just, quite dirty. I don’t think anyone cleans it every day (and definitely not on weekends) so this place depends on you to keep it at least as tidy, if not better, as you find it! Thank you 😊 there is a broom/mop provided. No good laundry options. Fridge, microwave, all the dishes/utensils you need, and even stove (frying pans, no pot). Lots of outlets not working but enough… Oh, some beds have uncomfortable springs, some beds were foam; just find the one you like hopefully. There are loads and even more downstairs but there’s ghosts down there.
You have to register at the restaurant before the albergue. The building definitely need some renovation works, there is mold, water leakage among other things. But it's cheap and pilgrims don't complain, they thank and continue their way.
Plenty of beds (at least 20). Price 7 euros. No wifi. Woman and men bathroom separated. Small kitchen. Nice terrace. Warm water in the showers
