ALBERGUE HOSTEL NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL CAMINO

I’m glad that I booked this Albergue ahead of time. It is perfectly located on the path of the spiritual variant of Camino right before the climb to Armenteira. We were also pleasantly surprised by the unique charm of the old Combarro which is 7-10 min away. Lots of great restaurants and stores there. Most importantly, this is a high quality hostel. Bedding, mattress and bathrooms are clean and very comfortable. The common areas, including kitchen, the outdoor laundry facility and terrace with a view of the sea are excellent. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. We had the 3rd floor all to ourselves. It even has a private terrace that overlooks the village and sea. I booked directly on their website that offers a small discount.

Very comfortable albergue. Everything felt very new and clean. Right on the path at the entrance to town. Had the front room and the bay views at sunset were really special. Doesn’t have a full kitchen, only a microwave and refrigerator.

I had a lovely stay at this hostel. The staff here are friendly, kind, and very helpful. The hostel is well equipped and clean. There are beautiful views from the veranda. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a great hostel, really a blend between a hostel and an inn - it has a big room with bunk beds but also individual rooms with private bathrooms. We stayed in one of those and it was very clean and tidy, with a spacious bathroom and a nice view of the ocean. The bed was a bit hard, but that seems to be the case with most hotels in Galicia. There is a shared kitchen area with tables, a microwave, a fridge, plates etc where you can make and eat a sandwich or unfreeze something you get from the supermarket. The person at the reception was very nice, and the place is mostly unattended - you get codes for the main door. Good wifi. Location is super close to the Camino Portuguese so it's very convenient to stay there if you are doing the Camino. It's also very close to the center of Cambarro which is a small, nice, touristic place near Pontevedra and worth a visit.

What a nice place to stay during the Camino. Carmen is so friendly. Everything is really clean, nice and neat. Good beds in the dormitory and a beautiful garden. A kitchen is available, the next supermarket only a 15min walk away. Plenty of restaurants also 10-15min away. Enjoyed my stay really much.
