Hostel El Campano

Loved this place. Very clean and the rooms were well appointed. This place had most comfortable beds yet on the Camino.

I stayed here for 1 night while on the Camino in a private room with private bath. The hostel is very clean and thoughtfully designed. The main floor has a small seating area, kitchenette (all necessary things except stove top/oven), a little shop for drinks and snacks, as well as laundry which was complementary. Rooms are on the stories above. The room was modern and had blackout blinds. The shower was nice and hot with soaps provided. You will have a restful night here.

I have seen them building the hostel the first time i walked the camino and saw how it got finished last year in 2023. It's super new, fresh and the owners are super involved. Apart from it being new and fresh, this also means there is almost 0 chance for bedbugs since the place is super well constructed and they keep it über clean. The view is amazing and there are some small drinks/food you can buy in the hotel/albergue. Further more it has an elevator and a bar of a nice familie (El Castillo) at literally 70 meters were they serve coffee, breakfast and dinner. In one word "great"!

We stayed here for one night on the Camino de Santiago. The staff are very friendly. The place is newly renovated and the decoration is modern and calming which blends in well with the Camino’ atmosphere. Got great bikes stored and most importantly that we can leave as early as we want. Unlike others places that we stayed and had to wait until 8/9am to be able to get our bikes and move on. It has a small kitchen with all the appliances.

A definite must stay - it's so professional & clean - the owners are incredibly nice - there is a full kitchen & laundry service available - it's in a great location & there is breakfast in the morning - book early because it gets booked quickly
