Albergue Santo Tomás de Canterbury

I hobbled in during a hail storm. The hosts were amazing, giving me coffee to warm up. I had a private room, which was delightful. In the morning they came with food and coffee, as I had a few blisters to contend with. I stayed the following night and it was great. Thank you so much for the care you showed me. I hobbled to look for a flower shop, but none open. Again thank you so much

I personally would avoid if I ever in the area again. Expensive for what it is, has workmen staying there not just pilgrims and they have no respect for pilgrims. There were no bars or restaurants to eat and the nearest shop was 15 mins walk into town through rough area. We were hassled for change by a beggar. No one sorted the noise at 11am it was a nightmare. Hated it.

Excellent Albergue just outside of the city centre. Great price (8€) for a very comfortable bed in a dorm and spotless bathroom and kitchen facilities. You can use the hostel's free bicycles to get into the city. There's also a nice bar and lounge area.

Great stay in this albergue, clean and cozy rooms! Price are about 8/10 euro depending on numbers of beds. Owners are so nice, they took care of our loundry when we were out for dinner and gave us tips for reach a fantastic restaurant in the center. And made also the reservation for us.we couldn't ask more! Thè albergue is far 3 km from the center. But buses go around until 22.30 h.

When I booked a Double room in this hostel I didn't have very high expectations based on their website. But I was pleasantly surprised, the place has been build with exquisite care: wooden ceilings, fireplace, handmade furniture. It was like being in a Hotel but with a very affordable price. Special mention for the Coffee, the taste was unreal. Nice staff, extremely clean and good atmosphere. I just missed a Fridge to put our food in, otherwise it would be a 5 stars place for me.
