Stayed here early July '23. Was ok if a bit rustic. There was a van parked just off the pedestrian crossing which set the pedestrian crossing buzzers off all night. I can tell from all the reviews it happens ALL THE TIME and is probably done on purpose. I wasn't going to review but I saw people referencing the crossing noises going off all night so I thought I'd give my 10cents worth.

Worst hostel out of my entire Camino, this was the only albergue that gives only a disposable sheet and no disposable pillow case. The traffic lights kept beeping the whole night, there were not enough power outlets and you have go outside the building in order to eat your food. Definitely not worth €8
8€ is cheap but can also be expensive if you can’t sleep. We were unfortunate to have disrespectful and very noisy people in the 20+ dorms. We barely slept. No blankets. No real pilgrim vibe, mostly people looking for cheap accommodation, which is a bit sad because it is run by a lovely association. Warm welcome received.
Very unfriendly Host. I can unerstand someone who Takes the camino serious, as the volunteer at the reception said. But he was very unfriendly, called us tourists and said we are no true pilgrims, because we had to stop for one day, because of injury. There was another pilgrim who helped us, who spoke better spanish. He immediately interrupted him and refused to listen.
Interesting, old building but very basic conditions with no kitchen and comfortable communal area. Very noisy during the night, the traffic lights announcing the change of lights every few minutes throughout the entire night.
