For the price paid is perfect. You get a beautiful view, a good bed and meet some fine people. The place could use a bit more fixing and cleaning. You have to bring your own sleeping bag.

Such places need to be in every guidebook and retold to every person doing the Camino. This is the best place I’ve stayed at and nothing overshadows it. You step into quite a haunting, eerie atmosphere, but soon you discover that EVERYTHING, literally everything, is present there. First bread, then you see…potatoes, rice, vegetables, pasta, cookies, coffee, sauces, eggs, and the list goes on, and then he arrives, and explains you everything and care about you as a pilgrim NOT a customer as elsewhere. He washes and hangs clothes with you, dries your boots, warms your sleeping place, gives you a sleeping bag and extra clothes to TAKE AWAY if you’re in need… and he didn’t take a charge, left him a big thanks anyway. WOW. Wish I’d come earlier to enjoy more of this. I was his baby for the night. Unbelievable. Hope in summer people get the same treatment, because in all inclusive hotels you don’t get that. The only caveat - no WiFi, but I’d rather have no WiFi at any albergue and get such attention. Recommend it to anyone you know on the Camino!

Fantastic vibe from Domingo and great albergue equipped with food options, off the main path, a bit longer than the official first etap, so it attracts the right kind of people, too.

Domingos was very friendly. In the fridge was food which you could use for a donation. The View from there was incredible

A quiet place for pilgrims who don’t want to stay in a town. Place is clean and have everything you need. Domingo, the in charge of this albergue, is the highlight of it! He is the most welcoming, friendly , attentive host I’ve ever met in my life. He introduced the facilities to us patiently, and even helped us to hang our clothes indoor to avoid humid during the night. He also bought food for pilgrims in case they don’t get food from the town. He is really passionate about his voluntary work. I would 100% recommend to all the pilgrims to stay here!
