A very friendly place. I arrived on a cold and rainy day, but inside the stove was on in the communal living room/kitchen. We sat there and talked a bit, made ourselves tea, some were reading a book, some made a jigsaw puzzle. And then at 7 the owners served dinner, all biological/ecological from their own garden, vegan, nutritious. Delicious! Very nice place to stay if you like to walk a bit further than Tricastela. The next morning you step out the door on a quiet and serene Camino....i loved to stay here.

I loved staying in El beso The place was warm and comforting after a long day of walking. The food was delicious and on my top 3 meals of the camino! The hosts are lovely and welcoming ❤️
Communal vegan dinner and breakfast were delicious. The beds, showers, kitchen were great; aong with the view of the mountain valley!.
A wonderful stay on the Camino! Surrounded by Oak forests, this Albergue is beautiful in, out and around! This is a welcoming home on the way, plenty of spaces for relaxing and also great communal areas to talk to other pilgrims. BUT the real star of El Beso is the incredible food, that is prepared with so much love you can taste it. Vegan or not you will be delighted by the delicious meals they provide :))
I’m not vegan but I felt very welcome here and thoroughly enjoyed the homely feel and nutritious food. There’s a delightful forest garden with hammocks (and tent stay option) and wood fired heater in the living area providing comfort whatever the weather. Be aware that check in is at 5pm only so worth booking ahead to avoid having to wait to check availability. A small inconvenience well worth it for an enjoyable stay and to support the hard-working, conscientious and caring family behind this lovely albergue.
