Albergue Puerta de Nájera

Very nice and clean albergue. Marian, the hospitalera, is welcoming and kind. Compared to other albergues, it really feels like home. The location is also ideal: it’s on the west side of the river, which is much better than the east side, and just a few steps from the bars and restaurants area. A great choice in Nájera!

Best Albergue I stayed to so far, by far. The interior was very pretty, staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and we had 4 pilgrims in a room. The toilets and shower were good and well stocked with soap and toilet paper. The lounging area was very cosy and equipped with a kettle and cups and vending machines. Close to cafes and restaurants and a pharmacy.

The ladies wete really nice and the hostel had a cute aesethic. Beware, it's next to a bar that is quite lively (at least Fridays). We wanted the windows open for cool air, but without a fan there wasn't air circulation during the night. Very hot

Great place to stay if you are a pilgrim on the Camino. Right on the trail, close to supermarkets and restaurants. We had a private room….while nice, it was very small. But that seems to be the norm of what we have experienced so far. A nice common space/table to socialize with others. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

You get a fabulous welcome and the albergue is very comfortable. I especially enjoyed hanging in the cosy sitting rooms.
