Not happy about the stay, too basic. No soap and paper for hands in toilets. Only 1 washing/drying machine. Toilets common for men and women. Some doors of showers could not lock. Nice historical building but need some investments. Up on the hill far from shops and services but excellent location for Santiago walk.

Great way to start the Camino pilgrimage. The receptionist was very polite, the location is excellent, and the facilities are clean - even a foot massage machine is available! It was my first time staying in a 34-bed dormitory, but luckily there were only 20 (!!) bookings. The evening service was beautiful ❤️🙏✝️

A little bit of a pilgrim-warehouse feel at this albergue, though not the worst I’ve come across. If you’ve been walking the Camino for awhile you’ll get a bit shell-shocked by the change that comes at Sarria. Just keep pushing through, you can do it! Most importantly, from this point on, you should definitely book where you’re staying ahead of time! This place is serviceable. A little farther from the main part of the city, but not a bad walk.

Don't arrive at night, it's very dark! But very kind staff on check in :) room and facilities are old but okay for the price.

12 euros is too much for this place. The rooms are enormous, so you wont miss a constant symphony of coughing, snorting and even some sexual noises. There was a dog barking literally all night in the house next door. And people with a misplaced confidence in their willpower set their alarms at 4am, but then cant muster the strength to turn them off, so we are all awakened to their generic Samsung chimes. Overall a nasty, and very short night. Spend the money and get a private room in one of the hotels down the hill if you can afford it.
