We really enjoyed this place. We had a private room with shared bathroom. There's a nice courtyard to have a drink. We ate the dinner and enjoyed it. The owners were very nice, talking and joking with us.

The place was very cozy the decor is very unique. The mattresses are kind of old. But overall a good place to stay as a pilgrim with spacious showers. The dinner was not great so would not recommend. The worst part of the albergue was the receptionist/host. She was on the phone fighting with a customer service agent when we entered and continued to be in the phone while she checked us in. She was cursing in the phone while at the same time demanding our passports and information. No smile no greeting. I thought it was the phone conversation that put her in a bad mood but I think her personality is just not built for hospitality. She is very gruff and not warm at all. During dinner she would take people’s plates away to move onto the next course before they even finished and walked around demanding cash from everyone for dinner like a tax collector. In a way it was kind of funny, kind of like staying at your grumpy grandmas house for the night.
I love this place. What a cool place to unwind after walking in the heat of the camino summer. The Albergue was clean, the beds were comfortable, the facilities were accommodating, and the restaurant was the highlight. The courtyard had a bbq, a bar and mist fans with a beautiful garden. Even the area where you wash your clothes and hang them was beautiful. And if the locals are eating here, I dont have to say anymore. I can't rate this place high enough. The host was lovely and does not stop, she is always busy. The chef behind the grill, cooked to perfection, the lovely lady serving us at the restaurant made sure we were happy. If you do not stay here, at least drop in for a meal.
Very good hostel on the Camino. The woman was very accommodating the hostel was clean, the dinner was superb and abundant event the spaghetti were al dente. I would totally recommend. The garden also is a hidden gem. I don't understand at all hate and bad reviews honestly I was insider because of them but in the end we were great here!
This is a little jewel tucked away. It has soul. It will be a welcomed rest from the average albergue. Character and personality of the owner! Very rare
