Nice place but pillows are very uncomfortable ( almost nonexistent ). They give you disposable sheets like in the public albergues of the camino, so even though the price is almost double, you have to use your sleeping bag. Also, the room temperature was low and it was cold, especially during the night and in the morning. Finally, I would suggest reading how the owner responds to other reviews to understand the overall tone and attitude of the management.

No reception makes the whole thing feel rather impersonal. Only the bottom bunk beds have a privacy curtain, and for some reason the bed light was outside of this curtain.. The disposable bed sheets suck, both in terms of waste, and their noise+feel. No light sheet/blanket provided, only a thick blanket. Otherwise was clean and quiet. Edit to respond: I never said any of this was unexpected, just stating the things I didn't love. Your passive aggressive response tempts me to reduce the 4 star rating to something less...

Absolutely awful – avoid at all costs! I stayed at Four Rooms Hostel in Lugo and honestly, I wish I hadn't. I could have sleep better in a beach at the bus station. The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable — like sleeping on a board covered in plastic. The rubber mattress cover trapped heat like an oven, making it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, they give you a flimsy paper sheet (yes, paper!) that doesn’t even cover the whole mattress. It constantly slid off, leaving you lying directly on that nasty, sticky surface. The place felt dirty and neglected. The bedding was sketchy, and overall the room had a filthy, unhygienic vibe. It’s hard to believe this place is still operating. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone — even for one night. Spend a little more and stay somewhere that treats guests like human beings. Everyone wants to charge good but not to deliver. I gave them 1 star because the app don't let me give them 0 or minus 5 stars. I bet those good reviews were bought.

Hello everyone, I have left only 4 stars because of the fact that without a receptionist available, some services could be missing like: - if toilet paper runs out in the morning - what to do with the overflowing water in the bathroom - a presence is required especially on a Saturday night when people come back a bit tipsy and start shouting like in the middle of a field I know we tend to go everything self-service , but unfortunately some things could not be done by us guests. As for the “sheets” if I can call them that, very annoying and useless honestly.. The material is soo thin it just ripped off immediately in several places. For the rest , I had a good time as the hostel is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is complete with the necessary. Super location, near the Muralla. Good customer service, over the chat 💬 😂! So yeah, I recommend them!

This was, without any doubt, the best accommodation on my Camino. Located just outside the city centre of Lugo. The woman working here is super friendly and she even hung out my laundry to dry when I was in the city centre. Everything is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is one shared dorm with eight beds, and there are three private rooms.
