Stayed 12/06/25 - Great Albergue overlooking the valley, checkin was quick and the rooms were specious/well divided into smaller sections. It came with an En Suite. The back yard balcony was great to relax on. Very central on the main road looping around the village with bars and restaurants very close by. We would stay here again
very basic accommodations. cleanliness was okay. i thought it was expensive for what it offered compared to other albergues
Comfy, but very spacious place. It was simple, but had the necessary stuff: Kitchen with a sufficient amount of utensils, perfectly working showers and cabinets for the bed. The only downsides were the location and cleanliness of the toilets. In conclusion: If you're a pilgrim looking for an inexpensive hostel, that meets basic needs, this is the perfect place for you.
Right next to a supermarket and bars. On the trail. A pretty big place on multiple levels, approx 10 beds, two showers and 2 toilets in each room. Windows with nice views that can be opened for air. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook, fridge, hot, microwave etc. Didn’t feel very clean, dusty and dirty floors. Nobody on reception so we had to check ourselves in and couldn’t get any disposable sheets. (There was a sign saying they were chargeable which was unusual but regardless, we couldn’t get them because there was no staff on the desk despite checking many times)
We spent one night at Albergue de peregrinos La Plaza and it was absolutely a great experience. The bed was really comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the shower area was clean with perfect water pressure and temperature. The Albergue has a well-equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare any meal you could plan, which was a fantastic convenience. The real highlight, though, was the terrace, offering a sweet view of the serene countryside. Additionally, its proximity to a supermarket and cafes made dining options incredibly convenient. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional customer service; the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and hassle-free.
