My family arrived early, by taxi, as my daughter not feeling well. The inn keeper let them in and showed them kindness so that they could rest, well before the standard check-in time. I arrived at this Casa with an upset stomach and could not eat the pilgrims menu. The male owner spoke English and was very accommodating as he agreed to serve me boiled potatoes instead. In addition, our bags were not delivered and he sorted this out for us. This was the most hospitable place we stayed in. The building was authentic and relaxing both inside and outside. I recommend staying here instead of the large towns. A truly special place to stay.
Absolutely amazing, beautiful setting, stunning traditional rooms, fantastic food, and incredibly thoughtful and considerate owners.
Our two families of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed in the rural house/pension of this albergue. The home is an old water mill that has a stream running beneath. It was the best place we stayed the entire Camino. The host, Gonzalo, was warm and welcoming. We had lunch and dinner there which was wonderful as well. We would all love to stay again!!
