I enjoyed Pontevedra massively, and this hostel has definitely played a role—it makes you forget you are staying at a hostel. The WC/shower rooms are private and huge (and the water is hot which can sometimes be a problem in albergues!!!) - there were never too many people in the hostel for it to be a trouble or create lines. You get the privacy you need with a curtain attached to bunk beds. Not to forget about proper bed sheets, which is also not too common on camino. You get fruit, cookies, tea and coffee in the kitchen. The space overall is top-notch, newly renovated and tastefully furnished, it feels cozy, so you don't have this usual feeling of wanting to run away from the facility. The only thing that bothered me is that boiled water from a kettle tasted terrible. Not sure if it's due to local pipes or the kettle, but hopefully the latter, because it's easily fixable.

Private hostel with curtains and plug ins which is nice. Only two bathrooms/showers which is not enough for the hostel. The common area is very small and cramped and there is no stovetop or microwave. Conveniently located near the cathedral and easy to get on The Way in the morning.

Beautiful, clean, newly renovated hostel in the historical center. Very comfortable bed. The rain shower is such a treat! The lady who checked me in was very kind and friendly. Feel so lucky to get a bed last minute after walking 30+km on the Camino! Thank you!

This hostel was great! There are 16 bunk beds with curtains, a men’s and women’s bathroom (with one shower each) and a little laundry area. It is 4 euros to wash and 4 euros to dry which I think is a little pricey, but there was a space to wash clothes by hand and hang them to dry. Close to historical sites of pontevedra. There was coffee, apples and crackers available in the morning.

The hostel itself is nice. I liked sleeping there (20.10.22-21.10.22). However I woke up in the morning and saw more than one bedbug over my head. Well this can happen. But as I informed the staff by phone about it, they said it could not be as they disinfect the bunks everyday. I know what I saw. If they take care of the bedbugs I would stay again.
