After a long walk up hill along the Camino de Santiago, it is so welcoming to find this lovely little traditional lodge with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. David - the owner immediately makes you feel welcomed as soon as you arrived at the front entrance. Together with his ever helpful and friendly assistant, Alberto, one can’t help but to fall in love with this place. The hearty home-cook dinner over local wine and good company are something I will remember for a long time to come. A great respite for a weary traveller along the Camino!

I had lunch at the terrace and enjoyed the great empanadas and cold beer engulfed with good vibes and attentive service. Food was so good that I had to return for the delicious homemade dinner - fairy lights strung between beams created pockets of warmth, whilst jazz music played at dinner at just the right volume, loud enough to add character but quiet enough for intimate conversations.
Amazing soups and cakes. Worth the stop. Lemon cake and carrot cake while I was there Bread at breakfast was outstanding
Outstanding hotel right on the Camino. Very historic and well kept building with great character and sense of history. Rooms are extremely comfortable and the bedding is great. Tortas, tortillas, are home made, coffee bar is excellent. David the owner and his wife will go out of their way to serve you.
Day 31 walking and our stay here was our favorite stay so far! The room was charming and had everything we needed. No detail was overlooked!! These owners are friendly, kind and generous! Breakfast was wonderful with delicious rye bread. Try their carrot cake with coffee!!! This was our best nights sleep - started late because the bed was so comfortable. This home is historical and is artfully and tastefully renovated!! A jewel of a spot too which will leave you daydreaming of moving to this special Spanish village.
