I cannot recommend this place and I am very sorry to give a bad review when I know many workers will be damaged by a bad reputation of the whole structure.but this hostel is filled with bedbugs. We noticed it the morning after staying. Every corner of our room was full of GENERATIONS of chinches. After a week we are still struggling with the bites, even though we washed everything . We know how important it is to prevent from spreading,so we politely waited for the bar to be empty to point it out to the waitress (she had been a lot busy between restaurant and bar ... Not the most pleasant but again we understood)the offense is that all she answered was that we might have brought them in the backpacks, and that she found it very awkward because her colleague cleans everyday. So we had to go to a public laundry and wash everything including our backpack to avoid spreading any big to the next albergue, and head to the farmacy to buy antihistaminics and creams for the itch. I think that if you run such a place you should not be so superficial with this issue. You are seriously damaging your clients AND your colleagues. From pilgrim to pilgrim: stay away from this place, you will find more Camino atmosphere and cleanness anywhere else.

Pilgrims menu looks good and bean soup was magnificent but oh dear the mains of chicken and ribs was not oven cooked and probably deep fried. Eat the soup and leave.
Checking staff was very cold. Room was okay for me although some ppl said they were extremely hot in October. The laundry room is very small and was full.
I do not understand the previous comments, I have only had a good experience here. The restaurant has great and professional service, great wine, great food (Try the rioja and their meatballs). On top of it all the restaurant faces the river - so you got yourself a beautiful view. Don't miss out on this pearl ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Nice cafe for a rest and buy a drink to you the restroom. We were a bit tired from the walking from the Camino de Santiago. We spotted this cafe, we decided to stop here for a break. They have plenty of outdoor seating. The price is a little big high but the location is great view.
