5 / 5 We were supposed to stay in Hotel Lois for a night in A’Coruña. Before going there from Madrid, our passports were stolen so we had to go to the embassy to get our travel documents replaced but this change affected our stay in Hotel Lois. The staff of the hotel was so understanding, and even with the late cancellation, they didn’t even charge us which made our situation less stressful as it was. That’s quality service!
5 / 5 My first place in A Coruña….
Perfect localisation, perfect room ( ask for 2 or 3th floor: less noise from the street)
Nice breakfast at the first floor…Nice and quiet morning.
Then :…… the restaurant, my first experience with galician especiallyties….
Perfect home made kitchen, calamari, chipirones, sea food, amazing croquetas de la casa, vanilia bacalao, pulpo à la galega, crab, ternera incredible and the perfect wine….
Honestly, that’s not cheap, but deserves all my recommendations, for a last great dinner.
Count around 60-70 € with a glass of wine and 3 dishes. Believe me , it worth it.
Perfect service, smile.
If you can : try la tarta de la abuela ( the best in town)
Now, every time I come to A Coruña, I come to loïs
Enjoy 😉
5 / 5 Very happily surprised for a 2 star hotel. Everything was spotless, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again if I was ever in the area.
5 / 5 We stayed at this hotel for three weeks this July. It was wonderful. First of all it was super clean and safe. Rooms were cleaned and bed sheets exchanged every day unless you decline and decide to stay in and relax. Alberto at the front desk was extremely helpful in every aspect from communication of our online reservations, info on the bus routes to obtaining taxis, and made our check in and check out easy and stress free. The restaurant was was wonderful with excellent fresh seafood, wines and a fantastic port selection. Service was was perfect with attentive waiters Rodrigo and Manuel, and menus in multiple languages. The owners always welcomed us as we entered the hotel and restaurant on every occasion and even allowed my wife to store her medication in a refrigerator in the kitchen. Yes, its a smaller hotel but it does have a elevator and air conditioning in the rooms.
5 / 5 Dates stayed 22nd July to 31 July 2024
Fabulous 2 star hotel run by Alberto and his friendly staff. Located in a side street with easy access to other restaurants and bars even though it has its own restaurant where the locals come to dine. The food was excellent as was the service. My Spanish was limited, but Alberto and his staff were very patient and most spoke English. They were happy to help out with some advice in places to go and things to see and do. Room was a little small (but that was to be expected for a small hotel), the room was clean and ready when I arrived. Thank you Alberto and many thanks to your staff for making my stay an enjoyable one.
