The location is great. It is literally on the Camino. However, that is where the positive things stop for me. My room was approximately 9 x 10‘ and dingy, dark, musty smelly, filled with mildew and bugs like giant spiders. I went to grab a bite to eat and went back to the room and realized that I couldn’t breathe because of the bug spray and the mildew, so I went to the desk and asked about changing rooms and they said no you were already in the room so you have to stay there. They were not very nice about it either. Then the toilet wouldn’t flush. The mechanism on the top would stick and the toilet would begin flushing on its own. I went back to the desk the guy came and told me. Oh no it’s not broken see and he bang it a few times to get it to flush. Then he said well I don’t think you like this room, duh, no. He said well OK come see this room and see if you want to move and it was upstairs directly above my room. It was a nicer room as far as light, and larger. I said okay, can you give me 10 minutes so I can pack up my suitcase again and he said no you have to do it right now! I said never mind that I would stay in my original room. But I regret that because I could not sleep, I could not breathe in every time I went into the bathroom there was bugs. Yes I understand that it’s along the Camino and that we are there for our pilgrimage and not to necessarily be comfortable but getting a good night sleep is very important and that was not possible here. I also felt the restaurant was overpriced and the food I received for the Pilgrim meal, which cost €20 was basic And I didn’t even eat most of the entrée because the meat was so salty. This morning there was very little food on the breakfast buffet, although they did have real scrambled eggs, which I was happy about because getting an egg this past week has been difficult.

Great stay. The rooms were clean and as it was a cold wet day they had the heat on. Dinner was great and the breakfast buffet was terrific and had two kinds of eggs! Service was awesome.

Rooms were great; clean and tidy and contained everything we needed. Super friendly service. The complex has a swimming pool and laundry facilities.

What a gem the rooms are ultra clean and modern. They have a pool and there is a Resteraunt next door. The best part is the staff, especially the owner. There was a mix up and our luggage never arrived. She texted us so when we checked in she took us in her own car to retrieve our luggage that was delivered to the wrong hotel, my fault. She turn what could have been a night mare into a 20 min inconvenience.
