Great hostel for my family of three during our two night stay in Coimbra! The location is to die for (though if you're driving, don't Google Map to the place - you'll end up having to navigate some extremely narrow streets in the old city. Park on the edge of the city and walk in). The rooms were nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only bummer was that they didn't have breakfast or coffee available on the days we stayed - but you have about 6 choices within a 5 minutes walk, so it was no big deal.

It’s not terrible by any mean and it’s a good option if you need somewhere to sleep but that’s it. The TV and plugs weren’t working and we still payed full price. The breakfast isn’t bad, but don’t expect anything out of ordinary. The location can be a little tricky and hard to reach if you have a big car. Accessibility wise it’s a big no. There is no elevator. Overall, if you want something just for a couple of nights it’s a good choice. Just don’t expect any extras.
One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever seen. As a couple we had a seperate room but with shared bathrooms. All seemed to be perfectly fine. Service at the counter was also very nice.
Serenata is a hostel with great facilities and a perfect location – it feels more like a hotel than a hostel! Eugene, the manager, is an awesome host who truly makes you feel at home
Amazing location of this hostel in Coimbra, with a little terrace with an incredible view on the church. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming ( fluent English and French).Very clean and comfortable room (we had the private room for 4 people) with air conditioning. Highly recommended.
