Amazing place to stay. Beautiful location, completely on its own on a wide plain, with great views. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and attentive (they speak good English as well as Spanish) The facilities are all modern and well maintained (super clean bathrooms, hot showers that aren't cramped at all) They have a nice bar, with a wide range of options (reasonably priced) and lots of seating indoors and out. The food was excellent, some of the best on the camino. We had fresh courgette soup made from courgettes they grew in the garden out back, and a lovely pasta dish. They checked about allergies and offered veggie and vegan options. The breakfast was great too - fresh melon, bread with tomato and olive oil and eggs cooked to your liking. Comfy beds and real sheets in the main dormitory. This place has everything a pilgrim needs. Waking up to have coffee and look out for miles was a highlight of our walk so far. The place itself is just a bit special. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We have stayed at lots of good places, but this is the only place we've stayed at so far that we would say is a 'must visit'. Thanks so much to the hosts!

Wonderful stay just ahead of Hontanas. Two large sleeping rooms, wooden bunk beds (no annoying metal creaking), real sheets + pillowcases, and clean single restrooms/showers with plenty of hot water. Hosts were lovely, and lunch + dinner + breakfast were nutritious and tasty. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience! Very nice food and location but most importantly: it is a true dog friendly place
Loved our stay here. The food was a step above the usual pilgrim menu - lovely flavours and attention to detail. The view from the terrace was stunning (in our case a thunder storm). Just be mindful that wine is not included in the pilgrim menu like a lot of other places so you will be asked to pay for what you consume, but the prices were very reasonable.
Best albergue experience on the Camino Frances. Kind hospitality for pilgrims, peaceful common areas, amazing views and simple, healthy, delicious food. And a sassy gato hostess. If you can go a stage and a half out of Burgos, make a point to stay here
