Villa de Salas Alojamientos

This Villa is spotlessly clean and quiet. The owner is a “foody” and offered us sweet white bubbly wine on arrival- it was better than Gatorade and revived us immediately. We opted to eat at the Villa and he carefully chose each course for our family so we could savor the local cuisine. He paired it with a local wine and then provided free shots of a local liqueur at the end. He advised us to eat slowly and stretch out the experience. He was so enthusiastic about us enjoying our meal it turned into a truly memorable experience. It was a great start to the Camino!

Warm hospitality and a hot shower means the world during a cold, wet Camino. Manuel's attitude is reflected in the condition of the property: immaculately clean, spacious, and heated all night. The beds are comfortable, the location is central...what more could a pilgrim ask for? Oh, that's right-- a bar downstairs that serves food and is popular with locals. An excellent stay, I highly recommend you check this place out.

I would recommend to stay here en route to camino. Very good price. Very comfortable and very clean amenities including kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet and great wifi. No towel, toothpaste and toothbrush. No breakfast or dinner in price. Near grocery store. There's a place to hang clothes.

One of the best experiences in the camino primitivo. Highly recommended.

Since I only went to the bar, I can't rate the rest, but the bar staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. A cachopin (a small breaded and fried meat dish) with fries and a slice of chocolate cake were reasonably priced. Plus, there was a World Cup match on while Spain was playing, and you could share stories with fellow pilgrims.
