Albergue Río Mandeo

There was only 1 other person staying the night I stayed, so we had lots of space and it was spotlessly clean. I liked that there were privacy curtains on the beds, and private space to get changed after a shower. However I was fairly cold in the hostel, and the WiFi didn't seem to work in the dorm sadly.

Very well equipped for a private albergue. Very well-furnished kitchen with basic ingredients, a (1 euro) coffee maker, cups and cutlery. Showers are in stalls, and the bathroom area is kept very clean. There's also washer and dryer for 4 Euro each. The sleeping areas remind me of a Japanese capsule hotel in a good way, because they have privacy curtains alongside the reading light and power outlet. My only ding against it is that the WiFi didn't reach all the way to the sleeping quarters.

Nice premises. Very nice and helpful lady at reception. Very clean and cozy place. Good laundry service. They also have private rooms with toilette and another hotel for longer stays. Kitchen with no cooker. Recommendable.

The staff is so kind and the private bedroom/bathroom were super clean. Only thing to note is that the walls are super thin so you can hear whole conversations of the people in the room next to you. But we had a great experience overall!

For me, one of TOP! places on the route. Friendly, accommodating, and what I liked the most is someone was thinking when designing the place about the purpose of it, to whom it serves. Everything was well organized, well marked, and I found all I needed. From the good coffee in the morning, through social space, nice and well equipped kitchen to the laundry and hair dryer. I really liked it. And the gentleman at the reception was so nice. Understanding, on purpose, and helpful. 🔝
