The hospitalero is not nearly as strict as some reviews suggest. He was very friendly and created a warm, homey atmosphere. We were able to use the table to eat our own food and heat things up in the microwave. The upstairs dormitories are clean, cozy, and very warm in winter. The beds are comfortable. Overall, a very good stop on the Camino.

Warm, cozy place. Marcelo is very friendly, hospitable and is dedicated to make it home. And it’s a unique to have the Italian dinner here.
Marcelo is such a wonderful person and the albergue is warm and cozy. I can't wait for the shared Italian dinner, which looks so promising. He also helped me adjusting my backpack, which I truly appreciate!
The owner is amazing and has done the Camino a few times and can give you all the advice and help. He does family style Italian meals for dinner so you can meet the other pilgrims at the small hostel. It’s also right on the path on the way out of town in the morning so you’re the first to leave.
Spacious and clean room. I was been bite by bed bugs few days ago, and Marchello helps me disinfect everything. Super patient and friendly 👍 If only we have enough pilgrims for community dinner would be perfect.
