5 / 5 Bellissima!♡ Lovely gardens, including the most amazing collection of Bonsai I've ever seen. Charming and interesting collection of art, literature and furniture in the reception. Food was wonderful. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay very much.
5 / 5 Loved it! And if I would ever come back to Finisterre, I’m definitely picking this this hotel again. The room was lovely and clean and the beach with the perfect sunset is a 5 minute walk. Thank you Daniel for your hospitality
5 / 5 Beautiful hotel in Finisterre!
The staff were very friendly at check-in. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. The showers were great, too.
I’d definitely recommend the breakfast. It was a delicious buffet spread of salty and sweet baked goods + tons of cheese, meats, and toasts.
I’d love to come back in the summer when the pool is open!
Overall a great stay with a beautiful view of the town and ocean vista below.
5 / 5 This was the most comfortable bed I have ever spend the night in.
The owner is super friendly, but you should have a translater with you, if you don't speak Spanish.
I didn't have time to use the pool, but the garden and patio looked just amazing.
I would've loved to stayed longer, just to be able to relax at the pool.
1 / 5 I stayed here for two nights in a single room, but the hotel later charged me the full triple-room rate, even though I never stayed in that room category.
On the morning of checkout, I went to reception, asked to settle the bill, and waited while the staff member made a phone call in Spanish. After the call, he waved me away and told me everything was “already settled.” He then refused to let me leave my backpack for an hour while waiting for my bus. Despite this, the hotel publicly claimed in their response to my honest Booking.com review that I “left without checking out,” which is completely false (and irrelevant because they had my credit card on file the entire time and were free to charge the correct rate at anytime).
To justify the overcharge, the property posted a defamatory and fabricated response to my Booking.com review, including an invented accusation of “apparent intoxication.” This never happened, is irrelevant to any billing matter, and violates basic hospitality standards. My traveling companion who joined me for the first night also settled her part of the first night directly with reception, yet the hotel publicly contradicted their own staff’s statements.
The staff member on duty during my stay was repeatedly hostile, unprofessional, and aggressive, and his behavior is reflected in the hotel’s false and retaliatory behavior.
This was the worst experience I had on the Camino, and easily the most unprofessional accommodation I encountered in Spain.
