Albergue Cruz Ferreira

5 June 2025 we stayed here after an 18 mile+ hike. Right off the path a few yards. Not sure why the reviews for this place are all over the map, but we enjoyed our stay here. It was a very quiet place, not near anything, but we were tired and it fit the bill. It was not crowded. The host went out of her way to make sure we understood the rules of the house and meal choices. (she used google translate). She did our laundry for 5EUR for wash , 6EUR for dry as we ate our supper meal. The supper was fabulous. We had appetizer, main course, dessert and choice of drink. We were able to drink a whole bottle of wine and the cost was 15EUR for the complete meal with wine. The food was made to order and tasted so darn good; especially after an 18 mile hike. The rooms were nothing to write home about, but did provide for a good night's rest. There is a light above the door to illuminate the door, which was a bit of a bother. The bathroom was small, but it provided a hot shower. There is no breakfast here, but you can buy a meal at a place 1KM away. Overall a great experience.

Despite military organization, this Albergue is very clean. You cannot use the kitchen or the machines, but theres a guy that organize everything for you. Cook, clean, etc.. Also the rooms are for 4 people which is awsome. Baths not that awsome but do the job. It's just the hot water is messed up and the baths seems improvised. The food is awsome.

A lovely Oasis on the Camino primitivo. Gorgeous property and attentive host. He cooked a delicious dinner. The flan was the best I've ever had.

Despite being the only Peregrino Andres cooked me a great meal! The location is also fantastic and very peaceful.
