Hotel Posada Plaza Mayor

Fabulous location on Plaza Mayor. Hotel is very new or been refurbished recently. The rooms are first class. We found that ours on the third floor overlooked the Iglesia de San Francisco Assis. Bathroom was nicely appointed. Only hitch was we had to bring our luggage down to the second floor via the stairs as the lift only goes to the second floor - a minor detail. Service was helpful telling us where to go for dinner. Breakfast was a pleasure with very helpful assistant with a smile. Lovely juices, good cereal inclusions - even dates and prunes! Array of meats, bread etc. Full marks!

We stayed here a little over a week ago and really loved the hotel. So clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and welcoming and helped us figure out some transportation we needed. The location is perfect, on the main plaza. We'd love to stay here again if we are back on the Camino again. (Which could happen!) Dorothy and Charlie

Great reception. Nice reception. with extras, such as nice gadgets (cards, t-shirts). Room top. Nice view of a small square. Close to all cafes. Also supermarket around the corner. And not expensive for what you get.

Great room, right on the square, hot water (super important post-camino), great staff! Will stay here again!
