This Albergue saved me from an impending storm and I am super grateful. I’m not sure if the Municipal de Allande reads these reviews but in case you do, please know that I am very grateful that this albergue exists. I arrived in this albergue in a very fatigued state, the lady at the bar who gave me the keys was super patient to wait and see that I found the way to the albergue. The albergue itself is very simple but it had everything that a pilgrim seeking a shelter needs - a n electric plate for cooking, a pot and a pan enough to make pasta, one plate, a spoon and some cups, and a sink for washing up. There is no refrigerator so please note if you are going. I don’t think you’ll need it and in case you need, there is probably a menu at the bar. The shower had hot water so that was very appreciated. The beds were functional, but please note if you are going to stay there they don’t give you the disposable bedsheet so please bring your own, or a sleeping bag. I happened to have a disposable bedsheet I kept with me so that’s ok. There is also an outdoor sink for washing up and hanging your laundry. In the morning the hospitelaro comes to collect €6. If you leave early can just leave key and money at the bar. Also note that there is a lot of stinging nettles on the path up to the bar after you see the sign for the albergue, be careful to avoid them. Once again I want to express my gratitude for the existence of this simple but necessary albergue, it saved a pilgrim from a storm. Thank you!

A charming little hostel: some of the beds face a picture window and the mountains 👍. It's a bit more rustic than the others but reminds me of mountain huts; so far, it's my favorite! Access from the track: go past it and return via the marked path. Access from the road: to the left, below the road. Note: the manager is lovely!

They should keep it closed in its current condition. It needs cleaning and hygiene.
