This was the only place in the town which was not closed and / or not booked out on the Santiago Compostela route. I called the owner and he was friendly, told me there is a free bed. Although the conditions are rather basic, its decent for the price. Clean, tidy and you get a private room for an honest price (you can choose a room with private toilet & shower for extra 10 EUR or a shared one). Only disadvantage is the bed (it's quite small with a very soft mattress).

In general I think this place is better than the reviews here indicate. I stopped here after my first day of walking the Camino. The room and bathroom were clean and the price I paid as a pilgrim was very fair. However I found the bed to be quite uncomfortable.
Very friendly receptionist, the room was freshly renewed with new furniture and bathroom was incredibly clean and new ( towels, toilet paper and soap were in it as well)
This is a review for the NEW building (you still need to check in at reception in the old building) I got a twin room with private bathroom for 40E. Everything was brand new, very clean and everything worked (WiFi, hot water etc) Decent option for the Camino - can't comment on the old building's rooms - apparently they're cheaper but they were full
I spoke into the intercom and I could not hear their response as though they were not near the intercom. So, I went to the desk knowing they heard me ring. When the man arrived I was immediately yelled at. I just didnt respond at all. He provided poor directions to the grocery store. I stayed here because of the reviews. Sorry I did.
